Introduction

Hamilton Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) is a registered Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Our registration number is Z7907779.

The Bureau is a member of the Scottish Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (operating as Citizens Advice Scotland or CAS), a network of 59 individual Citizens Advice Bureaux.

 

This Privacy Notice describes how we collect and process personal data when you engage with us through the contact form and newsletter sign up on our blog website, or when you email us to provide feedback and suggestions on articles. It also explains people’s rights and how to contact us.

How long we keep your information

We will only keep your data for as long as is necessary. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter your information will be kept for one year, at which point we will contact you to clarify if you wish to continue your subscription. You can cancel this subscription at any time and your information will be deleted. Information received via our contact form or email will be kept for 3 months, then deleted.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data.

You can:

• Request a copy of your personal information

• Ask us to update anything that’s no longer accurate

• Request that we delete your personal data

• Withdraw your consent
